- Register on the Portal de Contraordenações Rodoviárias (ANSR) (Road Offences Portal) — using your Cartão de Cidadão (Citizen Card) or Chave Móvel Digital (Digital Mobile Key).
- There you can see the points on your driving licence, the traffic offence processes and your infractions record.
- The points system starts with 12 points; serious offences deduct 3 points and very serious offences deduct 5 points.
- If you are registered and the points do not appear, send an email to ANSR (mail@ansr.pt) with your NIF (Portuguese tax identification number).
